New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

The problem with that gate was loads of people were in the queue for gate one on the left so in the wrong place, then there was a queue to the right same turnstile.
Which was mad.
We got there about 2 pm and the steward said stand in this queue , which was basically in the middle of the other longer lines and we were in after about 5 minutes.
The stewards need to get used to which place people should stand ect they were like lost sheep, I know someone who is one and they basically got told to go over there.
Not the training you would expect.
Suppose its all teething problems.
That gate 1 could get lively at certain games as they are right next to the away fans.
Good view from are seats.
Amazing stadium .

Yeah, the Steward said something like that to me - that people were trying to go in the wrong gate or something. It was just a bit mad, as we were all queuing and it wasn’t moving at all. Then gates 1 & 3 were completely empty, but hundreds queueing for gate 2?

Deffo teething problems, and nothing ‘not-sortable’.

Proper amazing stadium though. Felt like such a good ‘footy ground’. Think it will take a dozen games for them to sort out the snags. But it’s ours for generations.

Walked from and too Lime st today - just over 30mins. Apart from the EDL or whatever they were marching on Hatton Garden it was fine. How was Sandhills for those who used it?
Sandhills was fine, in both directions. Although, the exit would be staggered, as people were leaving the Legends game, at different times. Thought the massive queues at the turnstiles would be an issue, but they cleared quuckly

A lot of the moaning about bars today, was due to people all going to the same bar!!

You can walk around your level of the stadium from north to south, via the east stand & there are more bars, E-bars & that walk through shop thingy!

Once people get used to this & spread out a bit, the concourse will seem less packed.
Absolutely! Give it a couple of months and all will be fine.

Great day but horrendous drinks situation in family stand. Beer and soft drink stations completely out of order….

Only wine in the fridges and ran out of any bottles soft drinks very quickly

People will want to eat and drink by their seat, people aren't going to walk half way around the stadium at half time, around 246 it was absolute carnage n they've positioned 2 kiosks on opposite side of a bottle neck

Nobody had any idea where to go (understandably), so they were just going where the crowd was going...To a 15 min wait at a bar with massive queues 🤦

As you say, once people get used to where the other bars are, it will be fine 👍

This 100%. Took us about 11 seconds to get in the ground, in South lower the food and drink places closest to the entrances were heaving, another 20 yards and I walked straight to the front.
