New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Yeah concourse was a joke. One bar in the lower North stand and an absolute bottleneck trying to get past it from blocks 21 and 20.

Other than that, everything else looked great.
Yeah I thought this was one of the main points of leaving Goodison. I have said this before, I don’t even tent to go down at Goodison unless for a wee just because I refuse to wait twenty minutes for a tea and a greasy sausage roll. If this is the same in the new ground then I will be doing the same. Simply put, it will cost Everton a shed loads of money because they haven’t thought it through.

Concourses at half time were no better than goodison. Couldn't move and massive queues for food/drinks/toilets.

"Through Pass" loads of people pushing through without scanning. Presumably somebody else has paid for their drinks/food.

No stewards in sight.

Stadium is magnificent but a few teething problems to iron out.
It was quicker at the proper normal bars, not much quicker though

My initial thought is that it’s due to the ground being so new. Everyone still rushing to the nearest point instead of utilizing other areas as the stadium is designed to do. Give it a little while and everyone will have settled into the place and it will settle down.

I was in Village St and the view from my seat is superb.

Pre-match drinks were ok but some bars ran out of lager and did not get them back on in time.

The food was not to my taste but everyone else seemed to be enjoying it!

Half time was packed and no chance of getting a drink of any description. Inexperienced staff probably did not help but hopefully they will get better.

I was surprised at how small the toilet blocks are and my wife said the same of the ladies. I went in 2 different blocks and only 3 urinals plus child’s urinal and 1 cubicle. Queuing out the door to get in and only 1 way in and out.

Quite a few things to sort out internally before next week but the outside was magnificent. I was bowled over by Everton Way and the number of people visiting their stones or remembering a loved one in overheard conversations was truly touching…it’s emotional.

Probably only a few, but anyone else have to go in a different entrance to someone they're sat next to?
I sit right behind the penalty spot next to my old man, but we're classed as different blocks. Be a pain if he wants to take his grandkids.
