Must be a lot of people just exploring the ground and not in their seats.
There's apparently a £10 voucher but not for today. Dunno how that'll work
The New Wembley effect.Must be a lot of people just exploring the ground and not in their seats.
Can almost guarantee there will have been some outlets where people are congregating while other ones a bit further down are comparatively empty as everyone becomes familiar with their locationsFar more people than usual will be sampling the food etc, it’s a day that will never ever be repeated. Plus for many of the staff it’s their first proper day at work. I wouldn’t panic just yet that it’s a shambles. Unique circumstances. Will have to see over the coming weeks.
Gone to queue up at Sandhills?A fair few must have got off half time, plenty of empty seats around the ground now.
It's a friendly. The ground is great and all that, but I'm certainly not getting any feeling of it being an intimidating place to come where the fans are 'on top of the pitch', etc. May very well just be because the football is sub-standard and so the fans have really not got anything to shout about.
Guess the ground itself can’t do anything on its own. Can only hear the 900 Roma fans. The ground is great and all that, but I'm certainly not getting any feeling of it being an intimidating place to come where the fans are 'on top of the pitch', etc. May very well just be because the football is sub-standard and so the fans have really not got anything to shout about.
I haven't seen that many intimidating crowds at preseason friendlies in my days. The ground is great and all that, but I'm certainly not getting any feeling of it being an intimidating place to come where the fans are 'on top of the pitch', etc. May very well just be because the football is sub-standard and so the fans have really not got anything to shout about.

Does having your own concourse etc avoid the queuing elsewhere? Are you getting any other added convenience for your extra £, like less chaotic bogs etc? In terms of view I think they are great seats up there. For like double my usual season ticket price, thought it would be a bit more 'premium'. Standard mini concourse, no escalators, standard seats.
I can’t think of many pre-season friendlies at Goodison that people would have described as atmospheric, so why would this be different?I haven't seen that many intimidating crowds at preseason friendlies in my days.
