I think theres been a lot of posturing from both sides. They had the higher ups briefing he wasn't going anywhere, we were saying the deal was all but dead. Meanwhile the player isn't training and has been left out of the squad because of it. The extra 3.5m probably makes it our record transfer, so we do need to be careful about how its structured.
