Confirmed Signing Tyler Dibling

If he was that great a big club would have had him by now ..... 50 million is far to much ....
He’s 19, do you think 40mil for
18yr old Archie gray was a good deal last summer?
I just think we’re no longer in a world where I highly rated 19yr old goes for half of a Antony Elanga or a Madueke. Gordon was nearly 22 and we got 45mil. And that was 3 years ago.

I always felt we’d have to over pay this year and it’s looking like that,
I don’t want us to comprise and pay 20mil for fellows instead. Or get Harrison back on loan, because we will be back here next summer

It does make you wonder. I mean, Garnacho for all his faults has made an impact in the Premier League at a club in total dysfunction. He's also young. He plays for Argentina.

Would he not be on our radar if 50m is the going rate now for young wide players?
I think temperament and attitude wo th garnacho are the concern, but there is a player there for sure, and I think Moyes could get a grip of him perhaps.

I’m shocked we haven’t been linked or aren’t looking at him considering the offers we are making.

Could be a deal to be done with the mad Jim at man yoo….

Gray would have been ideal at RB with Dibling in front :(

Both moving into CM in a couple of seasons.

Again, Bobble says otherwise.

So if we knew what the fee was, we've obviously made a few offers to see if we could tempt them to come to the table... that seems to have failed.

Therefore we've either wasted time on a hunch (we could get them to lower their asking price) or we will stump up what they wanted and at least tried to get the very best deal we could.

If we are to walk away from this now it shows nothing has changed at this club (we haven't just gone paying asking prices for about 6 years now) and our recruitment team is not what we were being told it was.

Player doesn’t want it.

If he did he would have forced their hand.

Probably holding out for one of the big 4 to get him in January or next summer.
We see now that the big clubs buy players ready to step into the team and contribute immediately.
Any young player going to a top four club will now they will play in the under age team and/or sit on the bench.
For instance, if Liverpool signed TD he would be be competing with Salah.

Just to clarify a lot of people saying Everton walking away and not just paying the asking price is a new thing and a signal things are changing.

We haven't gone around doing this since the summer we paid Juve, Arsenal and Mainz exactly what they wanted.

Therefore this excuse/praise will not wash.

Improve the starting 11 this summer considerably or they have failed simple as.

getting sick of this now, we desperately need a right winger before next week. Either pay what they want, or move on to someone else.
There will be no right winger for the leeds game. Let's hope we have enough to get a result there as I have a feeling the current squad is what will be available on the day. Praying for no injuries in the coming week. Clearly the club wants to get the best possible players but not willing to meet asking price for those. Perhaps they are expecting some of those clubs to give in with their demands closer to deadline day. It is very poor recruitment strategy...now they could well be lucky and somehow we get results with the current squad and end up getting our main targets at our valuation by deadline day...very risky though.
