I wish we could move the goalposts. Beto might bag a few more.
It does make you wonder. I mean, Garnacho for all his faults has made an impact in the Premier League at a club in total dysfunction. He's also young. He plays for Argentina.True, still think Madueke and Garnacho are miles ahead in development and almost guaranteed to get you goals and assists. Dibling is like a £50 million kinder suprise.
They have moved the goalposts twice since the original price was known (£40 million > £45 million > £50 million).
I'd rather we didn't pay what Southampton want and moved on ...but yes you are correct we need a resolution, quicklygetting sick of this now, we desperately need a right winger before next week. Either pay what they want, or move on to someone else.
If he was that great a big club would have had him by now ..... 50 million is far to much ....According to Bobble they haven’t. He said they were clear from day 1 what they wanted.
It’s 40 million they want.If he was that great a big club would have had him by now ..... 50 million is far to much ....
Not at that price 50 million ridiculous - I was impressed I would value him around 25 million with add ons if he performs well - its a hell of a risk plus the big teams would have signed him by now if he was that great - he looks good & thats it IMO ....….from Southamptons perspective, if nobody is willing to meet their valuation they could be left with a young player who doesn’t want to be there, who is drawing a salary and who’s value will start decreasing.
It’s a good game to play if you hold all the aces but they might not. In the modern game, I always feel if a player seriously wants to move they tend to move.
we have offered that they keep on adding to the fee....It’s 40 million they want.
we have offered that they keep on adding to the fee....
If he was that great a top six team would have been in deal done & dusted - 2 goals & 4 assist & made 2 pens is hardly great is it ?The fee is/was £50mil
We offered £27mil. £35mil. £43mil. Each including unrealistic add ons
Again, Bobble says otherwise.we have offered that they keep on adding to the fee....
No, they don’t. National press and EFC end reporting has been highly speculative and all over the place but the Saints end has said they want £50+m all in from day one. In fact I laughed at two of their local press guys over a week ago saying no chance but they have not wavered. There is discussion on fixed vs add-ons etc. but the asking price for them is what it has always been.we have offered that they keep on adding to the fee....
