Report just now on ITV news about UK inflation and how; "staples such as beef, butter, chocolate and coffee have risen in price..." Staples, eh. Maybe ITV reporters are paid too much? Maybe my hopes are just higher than my expectations?

Basically a pop-up notification/message. Like on your smartphone, someone messaging you on (for example) WhatsApp and the app sending the notification to your homescreen - that's a push notification.
