Which nonsense are they making us go through?

Loan deals for a player who's not long ago won the CL and about 5 PL titles and handing him his king's ransom wages.

It's utter BS and the club are relying on the client journalists to sell it to try and stop the anger surging over lack of real - and enough - transfer activity.

All top level football is contrived and artificial, particularly top 6 PL clubs.

And yes we're are only where we are because we have a few bob.

But I've followed us from the mid 70's through all our ups and downs farcical tenures of Peter Swales and Franny Lee being chairmen when we were a whisker away from being declared bankrupt, I've seen it all.

But since we were formed in 2008 and become "soulless" we soon became successful, and although I miss our Maine Road day of being [Poor language removed] and a laughing stock I've seen City win trophies I thought I'd never see.

The game is all about money, and you Evertonions may realise it one day when you're sat their in your shiny new soulless stadium.

I wish Everton future success BTW.
why would our stadium be soulless just because its new?

we had plenty of away fans come to goodison last season singing "is this a library" and "shall we sing a song for you"

the fans will react to the football being played on the pitch and the last few seasons the football has been pure and utter dirge to watch

the only shiny beacon of light has been ndiaye

Im just here for the footy Dave.

He hasn't really earned 300k a week and so will sit it out at Man City or take a massive haircut.
If it's really all about the money and not the football any more, he sits on his arse at city and banks the cash.

If he does want to play...no matter where he goes, he'll just have to struggle along on a measly £100,000 a week.

It will take time before most are hankering for a return to Goodison Park however state of the art your new stadium is. I like the Etihad but I prefer Maine Road and lots of older City fans think the same.

And when you've been beaten by small teams in the old third division you'll realise what utter dire really is😉
