I think this one gets done and we will never know exactly how much of his wages the club is covering. No chance we sign him permanently though simply due to his salary and age. But for one season to try and get us into Europe? Likely worth it.

I really hope he can reignite his career and find his Villa form but he'll need to be given a free rein, not shackled to the touchline.

What’s the difference in place money per season?

I geniunely think someone like Grealish has the potential to be a 2/3 place difference in the league table on his own. It’d be worth it for that alone.
