Isn't at some point, football supposed to be about actually enjoying watching the team and players though.

TFG did a similar deal when they brought Lukaku to Roma on a one year loan.

If he's being brought in it is because the club and TFG can afford the deal.

Jack freakish has scored 17 goals and had 23 assists in 157 games at Man City. Now I don’t think Everton are us good as Man City, wots he gonna do for us. Don’t buy a player based upon his media profile…..and he buys his shin pads from Argos.

Profile doesn’t win you points though, does it? We’ve been down the “statement signing” road before and it got us nowhere just big wages and bigger regrets. If we’re dropping £12/15m on one lad, he better be more than an Instagram influencer in boots.
