I'd be surprised if it does...unless it becomes the latest in our long line of "undisclosed fees".

If this happens, they'll definitely not be disclosing how much our pants were pulled down...
Yeah I have no evidence to support my thoughts. It's equally possible that if it is undisclosed it's for their benefit too.

Think we’re in a stronger position than some might think here. Player wants the move, as yet nobody else has come in with an offer let alone matched ours and his value is only going to decrease as his contract runs down so I imagine it’s a bit of choreography to close the deal at present. But, of course, it’s Everton so no doubt he’ll be at FF and then get on a private jet to Newcastle before all is said and done.

This pulling from training and freezing out from the squad is mirroring what's happening with the Toon and Isak.
So if its universally accepted that Isak is an RS in all but name, then Officer Dibling will be in the starting line up agin Leeds in eleven days time.

Yeah we’ve had a guy in the stand watching us after we’ve announced he’s signing and he still didn’t sign, so not sure on that one.

Poor Willy Gnonto went on strike because he was daft enough to believe we had the money to buy him.

I think it'll get sorted next couple of days, but don't see why we have to rush it.

He's probably not going to start first few games and the longer it drags on means we'll get the deal were looking for.

If someone else comes and pays what they want, good luck to them.

Getting bounced into deals because Spurs or whoever might be interested is a really bad idea imo.

Just highlights the shortcomings in our new super-duper recruitment team. You'd have imagined they'd have had targets and budget in place within a week of starting. Think it's called hitting the ground running?
That’s just a daft thought process. The recruitment team have come together at Everton. Half aren’t even in post yet! They haven’t been a recruitment team elsewhere in order to have targets and budgets in place!

As I said previously I don’t think we’re in a bad position. Saints pushing for more money but as yet there’s no queue of bids.

Just curious why you don't think they had this.

It was a question. But you'd have hoped our new owners with their Seria A experience might have had some forethought,I mean the last game of the season was on the fixture list.

Most outside the ‘elite’ are struggling - Newcastle in particular. Think we have done okay so far with the acquisitions & the prices paid.

Prices are high but think they will come down nearer the window close as when clubs & players get more realistic over valuations & opportunities.

Just need to make sure we pick up a few points from the first games. Despite Moyes talking us down this shouldn’t be a problem as the team (maybe not the squad) is arguably better than at the end of last season. Just need to avoid injuries before we get reinforcements.
