Bit of a let down if they are there as their 'home', having played at a proper stadium in Southport and occasionally at Goodison. I thought they were going to be sharing Goodison when possible.

Yeah it's a very naff venue but also the cheapest to run. Pros and cons to them all like but I was hoping they'd have Goodison as the main home and just Wally Hall/BMD as and when needed.

….i suppose Lancashire League games were always played at Bellefield so maybe this isn’t so bad.

The club are not trying at all to hide Nsangou lol. I'm also 75% sure that the Charlton lad Gokah is behind Malik as well. He will still be going through the 5 steps process but at least he's with the group

Nsangou looks like a middleweight already and working hard, I guess if Chelsea can’t keep the RS from getting their players there’s little point in trying to hide them . Setting him on a fast-track path with the u18s looks a good idea.
Good shout on Gokah , I saw the picture and was wondering who it was, I would definitely say it’s him , another weird Everton Youth thing that we haven’t announced anything about him., presumably not a done deal yet .

Could be that we’re taking him on trial for the Servette cup before any signing takes place? Remember last year we had the lad Anderson from Norn and mystery defender #19 in for the tournament.

….was talking to a lad I’ve known for many years, his young lad is one of the highest rated youngsters at RS. Anyway, they’re big Evertonians and he told me Harlow McEveley started life as a left winger but has grown so big he’s now playing CB, I’d imagine he’d be quite comfortable in possession.

….he said Everton wanted him last season (before takeover) but didn’t have the monies needed.

He’s guaranteed a pro-contract with the RS even though he’s still at school. They were at the Blackburn game a few weeks ago & although the young lad isn’t bothered where he plays, his Dad dreams of Everton coming back for him.
