City might be paying him £300 grand a week - that's their problem
But if he was ever worth that - he ain't now
He not a top player
He's just on top money - and us paying him top money won't make him any better

Don't get me wrong he's wasn't a bad player, just at any 'silly' price it's not worth it
I agree. In order for Jack to re-establish his club and England career he needs to put football before money and lower his wage demands for any club interested in buying him.

I'd be quite happy if we gave him away to get him off the payroll. He played well in our treble winning season but hasn't been able to recapture that form much since.

Hasn't really helped that we have Doku who has played better than Jack. I think he will probably be good for Everton and I wish him well wherever he ends up.

He hasn't really earned 300k a week and so will sit it out at Man City or take a massive haircut.

Would be disgusting to pay him that when Pickford earns 150ish max. Could create bad vibes in the team

I think half wages is our limit for both sanity and team morale
I agree. 300k per week is an obscene amount, so is 150k per week to the average working class person but top footballers demand top money. And although I don't think Grealish is still a top footballer he is still contracted to City another 2 years and I very much doubt he'll want to take a pay cut.

If Everton have ambitions of getting into the top 6 they'll have to break their transfer fee and up the wages, otherwise top players won't come.

I'd pay City 300k wages for him. Give Grealish 150k and the other 150k can go to Everton in the community and we can get some cash back for charitable donations.

He wasn't a major part. They probably would have won all those games without him. What is this marketing appeal? No one is supporting Everton just because Grealish has joined.
And yet, he played 50 games in a season where Man City won a treble. He played 13 CL games, playing every minute of the QF to the final.

Only Silva, Haarland, Rodri and Gundogan played more.

When he didn't play they didn't win as much as when he did play. So I'd say you're mistaken.
