10th July 1967, Everton star and Scottish international, Jimmy Gabriel, signed for Southampton after 303 appearances & 37 goals.A Championship winner in ‘63 and star of the ‘66 final,he later returned as a coach under Colin Harvey and had two brief stints as caretaker manager -
