They might. Or they might think it's an ambitious move for a club that want to progress and they get to play alongside a player who is a champions league, Premier league winner and whose previous managers and team mates have praised for being humble and professional.
Jesus, you're talking like this guy was a world class player 😂 😂 😂 we're not signing a Beardsley, Kanchelskis or J.Rod.

He's contracted to 300k a week. Legally he has to be paid that when going on loan.

He isn't changing contracts. Players don't drop wages when they go on loan, the loan team pays the wages at the end of the season in a lump sum.

City will have to pay him £300k every week next season unless they manage to sell him
Rashford took a pay cut when he went to Barcelona so it can be done. It's rare but does happen.

Rumours about him seem uncanny that they may be true - he got kicked out of the England squad - & when he went back to City Pep never played him apart from a few substitute games - -

plus we need to build for the future - I remember everyone raving about the Deli Ali signing - say no more ....

I don't remember raving about the Deli Ali deal, but I'm sure someone will vault me.🙂
I remember being concerned about his injury record, don't think many of us weren't concerned by it, great player when fit like, but that was far too good of a deal between Levy and Luvvie for my liking.

He didn't. The press reported that wrong. Every Utd player took a 25% pay cut for missing out on CL.

He's simply earning 25% less at Barca because of his utd contract
