I havent. you've just assumed that. I said it was his choice to have more money or football. Its a pretty simple A or B.
But he'll get 300k a week regardless of where he is playing football under his current contract at Man City 🤷‍♂️

So that's not the choice, the choice is to have football or not.

I think we are doing all the heavy lifting for someone else to just match the deal.
This is in no way a criticism of you but the Kenwright years , decades of failure, appalling management and the chaos of the last days of moshiri has done this to us . We are completely conditioned that things will go wrong .

So , spurs you reckon ?

Nobody knows yet what deal will be struck if he leaves for a club.
The post was about if he wanted to sit on his current contract and the bench at city. Or play regular.

it in
Not for me .

I think Ndaye could undoubtedly play that role but I'd keep him where he is and been so productive and play Grealish central and give him a license to go where he wants

Academic because he isn't coming.
it indeed seems odd to move N'Diaye insight. However Grealish i suspect seems at his best too on the left.
Wouldbt surprise me if Grealish joins that Moyes might use N'Diaye in more difficult games as a nr 9 to set up more defensively. Remember he did that with Bowen at West Ham (although he wasnt blessed with strikers there like Beto )

It's just he's a very good player and very good player attract teams that play in Europe. Unfortunately for us we can't offer that. I just think there are a lot of clubs that would be interested in him, but his wages are a problem. I think once a team agrees a wage structure that's affordable, other teams will be in for him. And there are so many teams in Europe at least one of them will come in for him.

Like I said mate it wasn’t a criticism I’m no different really , it just feels we’re conditioned.

I think you are overestimating Grealish's pull, and underestimating Everton's. Of the clubs that can afford to pay wages of 150k+, I'd argue that most of those clubs will not be interested in Grealish.

He's entering the arse end of his career, and he knows that he needs to take a step-down from the true-elite in order to get game time.

The only way I could see it being plausible would be if there's no loan fee at all.

If we cover his wages, that's going to be roughly the equivalent of paying a £10m loan fee (which is roughly what I thought we'd be paying) and £100k per week.

If City want his full wages paying and a significant loan fee, it's way too rich for us.
The deal will be structured whichever way helps city out in terms of PSR etc, a big up front loan fee they can offset against the prem PSR regs, Europe is squad cost ratio so wages matter most in those terms.

I expect shenanigans anyways.

How is it even the same thing?
We never got anything out of Deli if Grealish comes and doesn't perform over the season and ends up as he is now on the bench then that's money wasted , i hope he comes and rips up trees first name on the sheet etc but it depends if he's got the fight still in him to push himself

But that's not right. It's about if Man City are willing to compromise on wages.

Nothings been done yet. Even the media outlets are suggesting he may have to lower his wages if a deal cant be struck. City dont want him. I get he's contracted and can sit and get the same money there or elsewhere if someone stumps up the difference. But thats not guarenteed yet. My post was more about ambition and hunger still. Not greedy or lazy.
