Confirmed Signing Jack Grealish

I don’t think we can stifle Ndiaye any more than we did with Doucoure at 10 and Calvert Lewin ahead of him. At least Grealish Dibling KDH will be able to manage a give and go every once in a while
You're right we've not seen what Ndiaye's like on a counter when he wouldn't have to beat 2 or 3 on his own for anything to come of it. But they do like to take up a lot of the same spaces when they're at their best

But yeah good footballers adapt and they're definitely that

Problem for City is they overpaid for him transfer fee wise and are over paying him salary wise. Mental he is on 300k a week.

And when Guardiola has cut loose a player then that’s that for them.

He’s got some nerve asking 300k a week based on his last 12 mths. If he’s serious about his career he should be dropping that figure drastically.

Last chance at a World Cup
He's not going to drop a wage that he's contractually bound to. Man City are the ones that need to reduce the ask, not the player.

When Everton enquire about Grealish and find out he will cost 300k a week.

Do we know who would pay his wages.

I would have thought City in which case. it wouldn’t impact our wage structure as we would just pay a loan fee.
Mate, this is all just semantics.

As I calculated above, his book cost to City per annum is somewhere north of £30m.

If he's been frozen out by their manager, then the only thing they can do is try to recoup as much of that as they can through a loan - if a sale is not possible, which it's not given he has 2y left of his contract on wages no-one else is going to match.

Even if they write off the contract amortisation and go with someone else paying "100% of his wages", they are still taking a 50% haircut.

Will they go lower than that? We'll have to wait and see, but you can see some PR fudge emerging whereby we pay a chunky loan fee that is somewhere close to that and they get to claim that their demands of "100% of his wages" were met.

In reality, they are paying his wages whatever happens.

We will probably cover £125k out of the reported £300k wages. No one will cover the whole wages which City insanely offered to the guy.

He's not going to drop a wage that he's contractually bound to. Man City are the ones that need to reduce the ask, not the player.

Let him sit on the bench then. He's hardly switching over to Fray Bentos pies with a salary drop. He's already at the wont have to do a days work the rest of his life stage. Isnt it now about wanting to be on the pitch for the next few years in the time he has left at the top. And pushing for next years world cup. Isnt it? Gota be surely.

If we sign Jack Grealish what happens to Niadye? They do the same job and play the same role.
There`s plenty of room in the squad to accommodate both and having both gives us a bit of depth in that area should there be an injury or two. At the very worst he can take on some of the cheer leading role that Seamus has as his main contribution these days in the dressing room.
