A literal and figurative pain in the face I hate doing it..

Same. Never found an electric shaver that worked well, always irritated my skin. Never enjoyed using a razor either though. Best I've found is the old school blade "safety razor." Very simple, works quite well, seems to last longer than the 7 blade varieties from Big Razor Co. Then again I keep a short beard most of the time to distract from my fat face and baldness, I feel like it rounds out my face better (or masks the damage in those fleeting seconds I spend at the mirror each day).

Quick trim of the beard every Friday morning, that’s me done. Last time I had a full wet clean shave, the Mrs told me to come back in a fortnight. That was back in the lockdown.

Had a beard for a good 15 years now.

Occasionally have it short, but have had it long for a couple of years now. Trim parts of it when needed to smarten up but it’s a good few inches now. Use The Urban Gent balms/butters to keep it under control.

Couldn’t be on with shaving regularly.

Always after a decent balm if any other bearded scoundrels have any recommendations.

True answer is I hate shaving, I have occasional psoriasis and it always irritates my skin painfully when I shave. I have though recently started using a Bulldog shaved for a wet shave, it’s still uncomfortable and doesn’t shave as close as a blade but it’s alright. In saying that I only shave when I really have to these days, about once a fortnight 😂
