Transfer Rumour Dion Lopy

I think if people posts stats and analysis its reasonable to expect it to be made by the poster unless otherwise mentioned. Last time I tried asking ChatGPT about football it thought Everton and Roma played in the same league. It gets stuff horribly and inexplicably wrong. Its lazy to just ask the bot and copy paste, and easily misinforms. At least go to a stat site and snip the charts:

My guess is he's a Doucoure replacement.

Doucoure replacement would be even more terrifying.

......and you think that our professional scouting and management team, with years and years of experience at Premier League level and proven judgement don't know all this? Really????? Humility, humility, humility.

So they know all that & want him to play as a 6 in the Premier League? I’m glad these scouting departments have never, ever got transfers wrong before.

Wonder why all the other sides that are linked with him other the last 12-18 months didn’t take a punt on him when he was relegated.

You're quite right that things have been got wrong before, mate (I shudder to think how many times). Plus, I do accept that this is a discussion forum and broad church of different views. On the other hand, fundamental stats such as yours can't have totally eluded our management organisation. Brain surgeons are occasionally wrong, but that doesn't mean that I'd readily substitute my judgement for theirs.

STATS TIME:

Pass Accuracy: Completed ~84.7% of 1,243 passes — solid, but lower than the ~88–90% typical of top-level anchors

Touches in Opponent’s Box: Just 4 scoring zone touches over nearly 2,900 minutes, indicating minimal offensive involvement

Dribbles: Only 11 attempted, with a success rate of 61.1% — low volume and modest output for a progressive midfielder

Dispossessions: Lost the ball 25 times across the league season, suggesting vulnerability under pressure or close control

Ball Recoveries: Registered 170 recoveries and just 7 in the final third—lower than expected for a deep-lying role

All while in the Spanish 2nd decision. Big unit, slow as they come. Avoid avoid avoid.
I have never been so underwhelmed by a YouTube video, or any SoMe for that matter. And that says a lot.
Wouldnt spend a single cent on this guy
