Why would Grealish come here apart from locality ? He walks into most top sides most of which will have European football ?

He doesn’t walk in though which is probably his problem. He wants to be a guaranteed starter playing every week preferably at number 10 going into the World Cup.

How many teams will give him that? Probably none in the CL. He knows he’ll get it with us and doesn’t have to move house.

Agree totally, people turning their noses up at Grealish genuinely baffle me.

Realistically we are going to be a counerattacking team for some time yet. Grealish is better suited to a possession based team, unfortunately like city.
We need someone on the right flank, with pace, directness and goals.

….because I want effective footballers. The lad has quality but I don’t see him busting a gut to hit the box when the ball is on the other flank, getting in goalscoring positions and finishing in the 6 yard box. If I’m a striker, I’d find him frustrating to play alongside.

I watched him closely for Villa in his last game at Goodison and was so disappointed in his contribution. He’s just not for me but Moyes must have a plan for him if he genuinely wants him.

That's the funny thing though mate, if you actually look at the analytics, Grealish is an incredibly hard working player. Especially so out of possession.

The thought of an attacking 3 of Ndiaye, Grealish, Dibbling......That is a massive problem for the defending team...MASSIVE.

Then add the potential of Barry ahead of them.
