It's standard though mate. Any club in the country who has a 19 year old considered one of the best talents in the country would want the same. I agree though it's not worthwhile if the fee is £50m.

Presumably it'd only be on profit too as most of these clauses are? When you think that if he progresses as we expect that he'll likely go for over £100m then it's understandable that we'd want a piece of that.

Fine provided you take 25% of any loss we make too. I don't think it is standard.

Slight chance they'll do similar as they've done in the past. Offer contract extension with the promise he can leave if they aren't in the top 4 by the next window (Lavia turned it down 2yr ago but it did get Chelsea focused).

Dibling is different from most of the examples tossed around, he's younger. Still think he'll go for a bit more than most on here would like but hey that's the transfer market today. We'd still more than break even in 3yrs time as long as one of his legs doesn't fall off.

That plane which some, including myself, have speculated that he will be on, has today flown from John Lennon Airport to Southampton, then to Inverness and Kerry, before heading back to Southampton again. There is still a scheduled departure at 16:30 from Southampton to Liverpool John Lennon Airport. If this even involves Dibling, that is quite a bizarre series of flights to take in a single day.

He’d better get a move on. Takes an age checking in and getting through security these days. He’s cutting it very fine if he wants a pint and a look in duty free as well.
