Having been an STH for well over 35 years I have to admit that for the last 7-8 years the football is virtually an aside.A combination of poor teams, dreadful managers and incompetent stewardship allied with the generally over-hyped, under-delivered quality of the Premier League, the introduction of VAR and the shackles and unfairness of PSR have eroded any pleasure from the football itself. The drama of some of the nail-biting relegation must-wins and the sheer elation when Tarky sent GP into orbit were brilliant to be part of, but in truh therehave been very, very few games or players to get excited about.
I get my fix of positivity from my match day routine with the lads/fella's I sit with and the banter we share (often very negative ironically!). Every single time I walked up to GP pre-game I still got the feeling I did on my first ever game - I hope that continues at the Hill Dicky.

Theres a reason we're Everton.
