Now it’s done, I’ve got to say that Everton Way is such a brilliant addition to the stadium, as just looking at all those stones - each one with an individual Everton story attached to it - Thousands of them, just brilliant!

I’m so glad this has happened before we (inevitably) become a bigger worldwide brand and start to attract tourists and fly by night ‘customers’, as nearly all these stones represent true Evertonians and our legacy.

I’ll be in bits when I see my dad’s stone in situ.

I've searched a few drone youtube videos but most only seem to show the Giants on the right hand side. I assume the left was laid later on?

Going to be a bit harder to locate, head to the R, directly above the left hand edge there is a bigger lighter stone, then head to the other lighter stone towards the west and then head down 6 stones from there:

My old fella was born in 1928, the same year Dixie Dean scored 60 goals, and my grandparents named my Dad after him.
So for the club to install my Dad’s stone where it is on the Everton Way, has absolutely made my day.
