The way things have played out publicly either he’ll stay with Southampton (unless someone else comes in) and he’ll be disappointed, or he’ll joins us at a much publicised value after the negotiation and a lot of fans will want him to be amazing even though he’s 19. There are a lot of talented options out there. Whether our scouts and crack negotiating team know about them is a different question. We live in hope. Aznou and Barry were encouraging in this respect.

£40mill for Dibbling for me means he has to deliver. None of this "waiting 2 years" grace period.

Thats not fair on the lad but as already mentioned, there's cheaper options that would be safer bets to increase an already lackluster attack.
