So the likely scenario is that he stays for another year and ends up going for 30-40 mil next summer with only 1 year left on his contract. This season will likely impact his value at all

He had very little help last season and still was able to produce individual moments of quality. He’s going to stand out even more against lower quality and a team more capable versus such quality. It’s a game of chicken Southampton is playing. Gotta think they are hoping for a January inflated fee. Doubt he would sign a contract extension

He’s 19. Is a very good talent and displayed that against premier league opponents. He’s worth much more than 25. Sell on fee is out of order. Hope we can talk them down on it to 5-10%

They are basically saying give us a massively overinflated fee and then also give us all the profit you make from him further down the line. I mean just as if. An unproven young lad.
