Personally glad Moyes called out these clueless bluffers for what they are and backed them into a corner. For far too long at this club absolute chancers have been able to get away with complete incompetence with no accountability. I support and back Moyes in holding these people accountable for their performance. I trust him and his track record far more than I trust a couple of cowboys who relegated Leeds.
I agree. Very glad to hear Moyes calling them out rather than telling us everything is on track when it's clearly not. We get told every window that everything is going well and to judge them at the end of the window. And every September I think our business has been average at best.

I am very sceptical about how this recruitment team will work. What is their track record to be hired by Everton? What are they going to bring to the club ?

So far it's disorganised and there's no plan. It's no different than previous years. Arguably you could say they are actually doing worse than the last few years because they have more budget to spend than Thelwell.

Looks like they’ve signed KDH, aznou, barry etc no problem.

Some deals are just harder than others due to individual circumstances.

Well Moyes went public for no reason.

Moyes wants full control of transfers.

Yet you back Moyes and blame the 2 others ?

Its not registering with you that this is on Moyes?

Weve appeased him by forking out a daft fee for a SECOND unwanted player. First Travers and now KDH.

Hes a coach. He should never have gone public.

This window is a total mess likely due to Moyes daft list of demands.

Yes feel the same way,
I Like the players but we are paying a Huge amount for a gamble he reaches a high bar potential wise, that's only really worth the fee if he comes good and we sell him on later.
That 25% sell on is a killer means effectively we would have to sell him on for over 70 + to get are money back.
He might never get to that level look at are own Ross Barkley at that age could be argued was better at that stage of his career and was never a 70 million pound player at any stage.
We are not at the stage as a club we can afford to take a roll of the dice like that.
Get another winger and a decent midfielder and walk away.

It feels like the onana deal but with that deal the sell on fee was to do with the fact we couldnt pay a very good down payment because we were broke.

now we can afford a decent down payment it just feels like their pushing to see what we agree too.

Who is he calling out?

For far too long? They've only been here a few months, no?

Some have yet to even start?

If Moyes feels the recruitment team (which support him) aren't good enough, then thats on TFG.

Yep. I was far from Thelwell’s biggest fan but these jesters are making him look like transfer window Jesus.

It’s actually hard to judge the recruitment team at this point since all the personnel are not officially in position until later in the season.
I’ve said before , but I think we should have found a way to overlap the outgoing team with the incoming one to ensure a level of continuity.
But I also realise that would have been difficult.

Interesting thing is if Saints have indeed moved the goalposts on fee how the player reacts now,
Think they wanted 100 mill off city / spurs earlier in the year.....so I guess they have already compromised halving their valuation.
He is perhaps there one and only cash cow so trying to extract as much profit as they can, they have all the cards. Not like we are selling the player a dream.....Pay what they want or walk

Agree on the last part

Moyes is certainly not happy right now. And I think he has a point. Whether he thinks they aren't good enough we don't know. But as of now it's fair to say it looks like he thinks they should be doing better.

Having staff not yet in post is also not a good move by TFG.

This will all depend on how much Dibling wants to move. We are in a position where United were in that if we want to force the hand of the deal on our terms then Dibling needs to put in a transfer request. At this stage I doubt that's likely so move onto other targets please.

Next time you go and buy a house, if you plan on price negotation - maybe don't tell the seller you're desperate and will be homeless.

It's not a big thing, but it's not helpful.

The recruitment team, which includes Moyes, needs to be unified. Or they need to change/go.

We can have a crisis of confidence as fans, but the last 2 seasons we've finished closer to Europe than relegation. We've spent £40m+ this summer, lost no key player and we're lashing near club record bids in for 19 year olds.

The desperate party here should be the relegated side, with a players contract ticking on.

We've been in desperate situations the last few years, now is a delight by comparison.

We'll bring in the bodies we need, they probably just wont be the quality we hoped for because our appeal is what it is, right now.
I'm not in the corporate world but I'd imagine talking negatively about your company and throwing colleagues under the bus is probably not advisable.
