Made for a good tv surprise.....but kinda pointless when you think about from a storyline point....it made no difference to his chances of winning, he literally could have just cashed in the exact same way without faking the injury for a month....

Also he could have just had Bron and Bronson attack Gunther or Punk at any time, and cashed in then....:oops:
 
I haven't read any of the last couple of pages because I'm only a bit into SummerSlam, but thought the opening match was really enjoyable. Everyone in it was really good.

Bit disappointed with Sami vs Kross. I think that might be it for Kross in WWE. I wanted Sami to win but completely lose it in the process, and beat the living piss out of Kross with the metal pipe, with Kross laughing the whole time like a madman about being right. Would've been much more interesting for both men, and got Kross so much more over, and seeded a heel turn for Sami. Just seemed like unimaginative booking, and does nothing for Kross after months of "WE WANT KROSS" chants. Surprised they let Sami wear those tights. Good man 🇵🇸.

Thought Jade would get the win vs Tiffy but was wrong about that. Not sorry, I don't think Jade is ready to carry the title, there's something just not quite clicking for me, connection with the crowd, maybe? Tiffany is really goddamn good, even if I'm not a huge fan of her gimmick.

Becky vs Lyra was fantastic although I found the end a little underwhelming.

The TLC match was wild, silly fun.

Cody vs Cena was awesome but can't believe they're having Lesnar back while the sex trafficking stuff is still rolling on.

I feel like it's not long before the Fed just comes straight out as unapologetically MAGA. It's almost there.

Why would he pretend to be injured to cash in? What difference does it make?

Just feels like they’re doing things for the sake of it to get hits and clicks.

And do we really need to see cena Vs lesnar again?

Did get a kick out of Cena being a babyface again to be fair. It just didn’t work as a heel. Probably because there was no plan on where to take it.

The Rollins thing - why didn't he take the brace off in the ring and blindside punk? How is removing it at the top of the walkway any different to a normal cash in?

I guess the story will be that he wanted to screw things up for Punk.
 

Well that's one way to cement Cena's face turn, throw Brock Lesnar at him

Totally overshadowed night one and Seth getting the title, the Beast Incarnate is back
