Let's have some positivity

If You Know Your History

Player Valuation: £950k
I've been guilty of negative musings on here, but we as a fanbase have a lot to be positive about:

1. We have one of the best football stadiums in world football, and it is situated on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey. Not long ago, it looked like we were off to Kirkby! I know there has been a lot of debate about its capacity given that our record attendance is 78,000, but it's still an incredibly impressive stadium, with its impossibly steep stands and its closeness to the pitch. It's also larger in area than the RS' stadium, despite having a slightly smaller capacity.

2. We are still in the Premier League. This may seem like the absolute minimum that we should expect given that we have had more seasons in the top division than ANY other club, but 8 or 9 months ago I thought we'd be playing our first game at our new stadium as a lower league club.

3. Our manager 'gets' this club. He turned us into a top 4 outfit in the past and he will do so again.

4. Last, but certainly not least... I believe that we have the best, most vocal and most loyal fans in the Prem.

Is that it?

Always amazed at the capacity of Evertonians to place sentiment above cold, hard competence.

It's like the last 30 years never happened...

When we are spending big money on quality players and getting consistently good results, there will be no shortage of "positivity" whatsoever.
I didn't think you would be interested in this thread. 🤣

Regardless of the ups and downs, I am an Evertonian and if that does not make me smile then what is the point? If you can find nothing at all, other than a current winning football team to make you happy, then maybe football is not for you. Or maybe you are a glory hunter, in all but name?

We may lose, we may win, after that final whistle goes it is back to normal life. In the back of my mind, in between games, I am still an Evertonian and I would not want it to be any other way.

Aim to win and be successful , that’s a positive and something to be excited for week after week.

If our signings this year do well I don’t see why we should not look to win the FA Cup , again something to aim for and be positive about. Entire generation has witnessed no success, let’s change that.

The away kit is nice especially without the sponsor

Positivity???

this is more now how we’ve been ran under moshri than the past 30 years

(i think he’s referring to)

and that it’s NOW a time to start the rebuild
