He's nowhere near the quality and consistency of Gueye. Garner is better in the sense that he's got a work ethic that saves him from criticism when he's not shining in most games. That puts him ahead of KDH.

We should be after better than what we have, not him. There's no point in trying to polish this turd, most people on here know his limitations. Not getting Luiz means that you get a player like him instead.
Monumentally clueless. Who are you again ?

Please Google a club called Brighton and Hove Albion

yeah mate, and in and around all of those 21 year olds they've continually had established experienced players. Your Wellbecks, Milners, Lallanas Dunks, Veltmans, Gross's, I could go on

Their entire business model is twinning young talent with old heads. Which is checks notes exactly what i said in the first place?

As a side note I'm fed up of continuing to compare ourselves to Brighton ffs, so depressing. Tiny club with no history and no ambition. What constitutes a good transfer for them is irrelevant for us, we'd never accept their signings or style of football

When will we learn 30 million & no sell on fee - & if he does not work out its money down the drain .... 27 years old can't get in Chelsea's team - signed from a relegation club previously ?

I hope I am incorrect by the way ,,,,,
Chelsea have a fairly expensive midfield.

Chelsea's midfield was superb last year, their issues certainly weren't there.

James Milner, Adam Lallana, Danny Welbeck, Ricky Lambert, Shane Duffy, Knockaert, Aaron Moy, Dan Burn, Glen Murray.

Yes they’re the minority but they’ve also balanced their team at time with older heads.
We're not anywhere near just being able to throw cash at prospects, we also need to get better in the short-term.
