There’s a lot to be said for being able to change formations on the fly during matches. A lot of times it’s lack of flexibility that really costs teams in matches where their main style isn’t working.

Absolutely, from what I remember when he was at Leicester he appeared very much the complete midfielder with the aggression to close down and tackle whilst also the ability of receiving the ball under pressure and moving the team forward. I’ve not followed him since he went to Chelsea as to know what happened to him.

I mean I do criticise him because I dont think he's reached potential here...though that could be he's been managed by hoof merchants here and they curtail his game.

I dont think KDH is terrible - I quite like the skills he can show and we need more of that. But he's horrendously inconsistent. We can do better with £30M.

Moyes said last summer we need to "spend smart". Well I cant make a case for spending £30M on this feller, and I doubt he can too. It's just desperation kicking in.

Not yet perhaps , but I think he may well be in 12months , he has the potential to far exceed Hall .
Just have to hope we can help him realise it .
