Feller's a 1 in 5 game player who becomes the Scarlett Pimpernell for the other 4 games.

Are we trying to get value for money here or just trying to pacify Moyes over the lack of bodies in?

Chelsea must be pissing themselves.
OK Dave, whatevs....

We need to pay more attention when Moyes talks about weaknesses in our performances. He has repeatedly mentioned our inability to retain possession in midfield against a press and make runs in possession or passes to break the lines. This is one of the attributes KDH brings. We only see it sporadically from Garner and a little more from Tim but without any defensive discipline in his case. If all KDH does is be comfortable in possession to then feed the attackers whilst putting in the yards defensively that is valuable. Goals and assists would be gravy.

That's all great but I'd rather listen to the arbitrary views of posters who've watched him play 2 or 3 times, thanks.

Was unreal at Leicester in their promotion year. The price we're paying is about right for a top level Championship player in today's market

Only difference is he's had a year dotting about as a bit part player for a Champions league club since. As to whether he'll be a better player for that, or that makes this a bigger risk, is a matter of opinion

But the price is fairly reflective of where he is as a player. If you think otherwise then you're stuck in the past

Probably fair to say prices seem to have gone one way.

Context considering, we're pretty desperate too.

I think at £15-20mil he'd have been a good signing for a relegation threatened side to add balance.

For a team with 'supposed' aspirations of rapid improvement I am disappointed.

I think he will be on the left side of midfield (eventual replacement of Gana) with Garner on the right side.

I can see Garner being ousted over the next couple of seasons by Armstrong. If we signed Dewsbury-Hall today and then a left sided Armstrong 'profile' then it would make some sense.

Then we have 2 average CMs with 2 highly promising young players pushing for a place behind them. A strategy, continuity, potential growth.

As it stands Dewsbury-Hall & Garner over the next e.g 2 seasons doesnt scream 'X Factor' and while i like both players as all rounders, its not revolutionary.

£28mil is super high for a player unwanted at his club. A loan would have been logical or a lower cost.

It's gonna be £25m+5

So 5m more than when you previously wanted him.

You got slapped down just move on.

"Slapped down"?

Why dont you, "move on".

£25mil + £5mil = £30mil
£15mil-£20mil is circa half of that price.

He was very good for a Leicester team that should have got champions league, finished 5th, he was signed for 30 mil for Chelsea. He still only 26, Brownhill didn’t play a prem game till he was 24 and no team have come in for him.

He'll be 27 next month and the age doesnt really matter to me as we need a balance. Not arguing with his ability or what he brings to the team....just the cost is mad and there is better out there.

As I messaged higher up, if we had:

Dewsbury-Hall / Rigg
Garner / Armstrong

With Gana also in there, then it makes sense to me. But in isolation, poor.

We buying Onana too? 👀

That was from 2023 :p

Sorry if already posted. These stats look pretty decent

Tell me a player who has and is available for this price and would come to Everton and I'll call you right

Until then, you're living in a dream world

The market is completely different to the one you or I would like it to be, but let's be real shall we

If the criteria is that we want a (near) 27 year old left footed, English midfielder who has been great for a season in the championship, yet not shown anything above 'average' in the premier league...

...then Dewsbury-Hall fits that criteria.

As an unwanted player at a club wanting to get rid of him, how are we paying such a high price?

For me, id have looked abroad.

Played in a World Cup final and won the Conference as an ever present.
