Transfer Rumour Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

…..as I’ve posted @Moomin, I’m not in the least a fan of his but I genuinely hope you continue to vault me throughout his Everton career telling me how wrong I was.

Everton is all that matters and I’ll be as chuffed as everybody else if he scores an injury time winner at Forest, as every proper Evertonian would ;)
I thought the fact that Zat doesn't rate him might sway you into thinking he was a decent buy eggs 😂

Relevance is another debate entirely.

We're paying a fee for a player who is nearly 27 and has only performed in England. He's not done a lot in the Prem. It's a valid point he's made.

I don't really have an opinion on him but I still hope we sign him, and think he'll improve us.
We only play in England where do you want him to perform?

I think he suits playing left of a midfield 3 more than probably a 10. But would also need a good number 6. I suppose that will have to wait a year or two for that system

Maybe go back and read the posts again.

[Edit] /Sigh.

@Zatara mentioned he's never done anything in the Prem.

I said he had a point.

@Toffe3m4n didn't think so, and mentioned how Barry and Anzou haven't played in the Prem and Prem proven argument doesn't matter.

My point in response was relevance to PL football (which Moyes has talked up as important) is another debate - the point @Zatara made was Dewsbury-Hall hasn't done anything in the Prem. Unlike the examples @Toffe3m4n give with Barry/Anzou, Dewsbury-Hall turns 27 next month and only ever performed in England so @Zatara's point, whether we want to admit it or not, is a valid one.

He's had 1 good season in the Championship under Enzo Maresca, who then took him to Chelsea.

He turns 27 next month.

Let's hope he comes in and does well, but Zatara's point of him not really doing anything in the Prem so far is, in my view, a valid one.

No he doesn't. Tierno Barry & Adam Anzou have come straight in from the European leagues. Gyokeres 'did nothing in the Premier League' because he never played in it prior to moving straight from the Championship to Portugal and then onto Arsenal in the space of a year for like, what £80m?

Why are people still using the 'not Premier League proven' argument in 2025??

I think my point was very clear.

Nearly 27 and done zero in the premier league (the only league we can judge him on) and basically Brownhill levels in the championship.

Its clear that @Toffe3m4n doesnt have a riposte...as there isnt one.

£28mil for this guy.
£4mil for Travers

= £32mil

This is absolutely insane.
