He's undoubtably a talanted player and probably the sort of risk we need to take to bring quality in.

A deal worth more than 40 is one of our biggest ever. That can't be a signing for potential or a developmental player. That needs to be for one of our best players otherwise the deal makes no sense.

Seems like posturing from Soton. If the player wants the move, what we have offered will be enough, we just maybe need to structure the deal differently.
