If the deal ends up being around £25m then I'd be pleased with that. A very solid player and that kind of fee is the sweet spot I'd say.

No. Centre mid, primarily.

Great attacking stats, looks allergic to defending here, but possibly skewed from playing further forwards.

He’s not the biggest, or best defensively, so would probably be competition for Alcaraz. Would still need competition for Gana/Garmer.

That’s how I remember him at Leicester the handful of times I saw him. He wasn’t a zero defensively but his attacking was what really stood out. Drove the ball forward, popped up everywhere, and was inventive. I’d really like this signing because it gives more options in midfield. He and Alcaraz could rotate or sometimes play together, and it doesn’t block a move for a more defensive midfielder. His goal scoring output only came in the championship, so there’s some risk if it’s a big fee. As long as there’s another starting level CM coming in.
