I remember when Portsmouth used to tonk us every season and look what happened to them.

They're small provincial club at arse end of the country an sooner or later selling all their family silver will catch up with them.

I hate to give the Friedkin's any funny ideas, but Jake is our best RB by far at the club. He is actually good there. Some of those deliveries are beautiful. Only reason he should be playing there is in the back 4 but really 5 that Moyes ran with Tarks though, so yeah we need to get somebody in bad. See if Adam can play there as a last resort if Dan leaves us to dry. Anybody.

Ideally we would have got an actual RB this summer but he continues to impress there. Except for a few games where he may get exposed by top players I think he can do another great job there.

I'm more concerned by Mykolenko at LB.

RM and getting a creative CM are way higher priorities than RB given how capable O'Brien is there which he proved last season.
