Behave mate. It’s a s**** tournament that no once cares about. As long as players start coming through the door who gives a crap.
The advertising minded people will care, it's not my fault you can't seem to think of us as a brand and that tournament as an ad. Whether or not you care about that doesn't matter, it's incredibly important and something we've mismanaged since 93.

He was at the club from day 1.

I dont want to be defending him, tbh. But he looks like a super-fan in comparison to owners who obviously dont want to be associated with us.

It's a disgrace and it's insulting, and there's no excuses for it.
If you look around the league at the ‘visible’ owners over time they are more frequently a liability and ultimately well dodgy. Marinakis for example is only going to end badly for Forest.

No idea why people are so quick to judge them, the window hasnt closed, you dont judge 100m Sprinters after 50m, you wait till the end of the race.
You get a very good idea of what's possible for the contenders at 50m, though.

Our lads haven't come out of the blocks while the RS have done a Ben Johnson.

Dan Friedkin is on the Board. Marc Watts is Chairman. Ana Dunkel, CFO of TFG, is also on the Board. They are “present” where they need to be. We don’t need fans we need competent, ambitious business people and that is exactly what we have got.
They need to start signing some good players to demonstrate this competence.

I think they've been great behind the scenes, but we're football fans not accountants and economists. Ordinary fans need to see some on-field progress. I expect we will by September 1, but all of the much-vaunted expertise and competence of these fellas has come up against a hard brick wall of reality this summer. How they rescue the next four weeks will be telling.

Owners don’t sign players in a well run team. They appoint people to do that. If those people fail they will appoint different ones. The owners job is to provide the £ and they have done that. It isn’t no cash stopping us. I am sure they have asked a few questions and reminded the CEO of their expectations but I do not want meddling ownership again as it has been disastrous for us.

How did he show ambition..

We got steklenberg on a free.

Then we made no more signings until we sold John stones for 50m and bought in bolasie,Williams Gueye and Valencia on loan for… 50m
We spent under Moshiri.

There's no doubt about that.

And the effort out in to pull that stadium scheme off is easily enough to see him thought better of than TFG ever will be...and that's from a long standing Moshiri critic.
