Its not silliness, batsman get out and india are allowed to bowl good balls. Its as if folk expect every player to make a double ton without somehow ever playing a scoring shot

Crawley made an error of judgement. Seemed to think he was getting a bouncer just because they changed the field and got completely beaten for pace on the full and straight one.

But I don't think you can criticise that too much. What does deserve criticism was the effort in the field. Just nowhere near good enough for an international team. If they'd fielded well they would be chasing about 280.

Was it 6 drops in the end? They were just so sloppy all day.

64 extras is it? and Jaiswal dropped when under 20. There's 150 off what needed chasing, it'd be a formality. These would knock 220 off in half a day.

Patience, concentration, application. The Aussies will have a bun fight.

Sometimes the pitch deteriorates to the point that even the most resilient players will get a good ball and be out early. You may as well play with extra risk and greater reward.

If Duckett goes early we will crumble. The dropped catches coupled with poor bowling hindered our chances in this game.

Think we’d have won with Woakes in. We’d have more runs and they’d have less.
Should have a sub available in these circumstances.
