Fair enough, I like it, always have good chats with the staff. Some good live music at times as well.

A bit too open plan for my liking, beer's OK. Last time I was there, for some reason, they had Vimto on tap.
That's my squash of choice this summer so that's raised my rating!
They have - not amazingly sunny today, however.
I enjoyed The Ship too, friendly enough place and the ale was decent, but the selection and quality of the ale in The Plasterers won it for me.

It's worth a visit. It is tucked a few minutes walk from the RNLI station. I had a pint of Boltmaker, which was great, but they had four or five ales on.Lived in Meols for 30 years and still haven’t been there
Everyone seemed friendly and respectable too, so it's a big winner from me. I think I will take the dog next weekend for a walk and a pint or two.

Haven't they done it and started serving food ? It's been a while since I've been there.
There was a food menu, although nobody had any when we were in there. Based on the interior and the quality of the ales, I'd presume it'll be okay.

I always find mid-day pints are the most effective and pleasant.

Mate I can only have 2 on a Saturday unfortunately.As long as you stop at 2/3, otherwise it always ends messy
My missus being a tattoo artist she's out all day on a Saturday,and having 2 wild Romanian street dogs at home means if we leave them unattended for more than 2 hours we'll effectively have no home to come back to
So am finishing this pint to going home to refresh the Dibling thread every 10 minutes.
You were sat near the door to the toilets, there. The Storrsy has improved significantly over the last year or two, and their Rat is always well-kept.
I will probably be in there myself from about 5pm for a few pints before getting myself a Larros and heading home.
Took myself to Bath for the afternoon. Results all round, gorgeous day, bought Sinners on 4K, the Best of Dr Hook and a bottle of Michters Sour Mash while chatting to all the good vendors.
But I took a walk.out to Electric Bear for the first time, its about 40 minutes out of town.
Nice little industrial tap, gang are friendly. Had a refreshing grapefruit IPA, some Sri Lankan street food, and a couple of these excellent English IPAs 'Bob's Your Uncle'
Its using a couple of new English hops, to give it a fruity but not too citrussy taste.
Will try the 9% coffee stout before I call it a day.
