It certainly makes you that some people clearly post stuff without any real idea whether it's valid or not. Absolutely no issue at all with people not being up on their football knowledge but if you've never heard of a Premier League player who played against us 3 times last year and was being linked with £100m moves then you can't be in any position to say 'we're the worst team in the league at X' or 'Harrison wouldn't get a game for any other side in the league' because you can't possibly have any idea!

I'd heard of him.

But I can't recall seeing him kick a ball. I didn't watch much Southampton last season. Now I've seen his goal vs Ipswich, I remember that.

I sat at Goodison, and don't remember him playing.

Laughing on Twitter, someone was astonished I don't recall seeing him play and couldn't remember how well he played against us. Someone else waded in an said he only played 20 odd minutes, an another that he was subbed off.

I'd rather people were honest than blag they know all about someone.

He's now 19.

An observation would be if he struggled in 2022 moving an hour to his boyhood/supported club, at academy level because of the environment, then Everton would do well to ensure the environment is spot on for a lad his own club, as a senior player, describe as a shy outsider.
Kids grow up a lot in just a few years, at 16 I would've struggled moving away from home, at 18 I was more than happy enough to leave for uni a few hours away.

Shall we invite him on here? We can talk about football but also we have a very nice ale house for a chat about this and that, lovely!

I don't mean this pejoratively... but that run and shot really reminds me of McNeil.
People are overly harsh about McNeil, he’s been our best forward overall since he joined and the things he’s good at (dribbling and shooting and crossing and set pieces) he’s very very good at.

If this lad it younger, has a bit more pace and can actually use his right foot at least a little bit he’ll be a cracking signing.

just offer 35m, with 5m add-ons based on goals and league position and get this thing done before someone else comes in.

I really don't think there's too much to read into a 16 year old moving clubs and moving back over the course of 2 weeks. He went to Chelsea and realised he preferred it at Southampton so went back on worse terms than initially offered. Shows character to realise and own up he had made a mistake.
