Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

Would you be disappointed with £35mil + £5mil in add ons / clauses for Dibling?

I'd GLADLY pay that & the same for Chris Rigg.

Theyre going right to the very top level.

Not "silly sums" in the slightest.

I have seen that reported that Southampton want £40m and we want to pay around £35m. It depends on the structure of it I guess. If the add ons are easily achievable, like he makes 50 appearances over his 5 year contract. Then it effectively is £40m, where as if the clauses are related to us playing in Europe or winning a trophy, its more like £35m with a chance of it being £40m, either way, I dont think its a bad deal for us.

when you look at the money being mentioned for Forfana (£50m) and Assane Diao (£65m) then £40m for a player with the "premier league experience" box ticked, doesn't sound so bad.

From what I have seen of him he seems like a RW version of Ndiaye, he likes to get the ball and run at the fullbacks, he has got some tricks and pace.

Still shocked at how many are not keen, and even more shocked iwth blues who dont know him or have not seen him.

Is it his name ?? DO fans really just want Carlos Kickaballs ??!

Strange.
I think the fact many of us have actually seen him play yet retain no substantive recollection of him , apart from the vaguely humorous resemblance his name bears to an iconic character from ‘Red Dwarf’ on the team sheet.
£30m seems a lot to pay for an occasional chuckle when his name appears on the big screen.

This guy looks good but is there a question about his pace? Looks very Dwight McNeil levels of speed (from my 3 minute youtube video watching)...

Oh, and he's left footed... Queue the cut-backs...

Yes he's the same profile as Chris Rigg in terms of potential. Hopefully our own Harrison Armstrong and him combine well if we sign him.

I see him as moving from the RW to an ACM position in 2 seasons time -- others have posted Russell Martin saying similar.

Is that how you expect him to end up, as a 10?

Totally disagree on Rigg. I saw him play several games 2nd half of the season and he was at least as good as Dan Neil who is considered to be very good at that level.

But i do agree on their stages of development. Rigg of course is only 18, same as Armstrong.

Obviously we dont have a bottomless pit of cash but I would say that if we got Dibling and Rigg, along with having Armstrong that may well become an elite level central trio in 2 seasons time.
I'm sure you said the same about Max Aarons and Emerson Royale , not to mention Todibo.

Yet everyone creamed over Fofana....20 years old and your all ltelling lies if you have watched him play more than that 1 game against United.

Dibling was talked about at £100 million not so long ago, and all top English clubs linked....do some live on the moon.

You would all want £30 million MINIMMUM for Harrison Armstong I gather!

£30 millis peanuts.

Yet when linked to 20 year old Fofana......everyone is creaming!!!

Every player is a risk.

Some fans want over £100 million for Branthwaire......
reason why some of us havent heard of him is he has not been hitting the headlines or impressing with stats. even gordon did so much better in our relegation threatened side and went for 40m

just sayin for that money maybe its not fofana but we need to use that on someone coming in straightaway to deliver
