Confirmed Signing Tyler Dibling

The English tax on a player is absolutely wild.

Is there a reason he didn’t get chosen for the England U21 Euros squad this summer? Injury?

Throwing ridiculous sums of money around in a panic just to sign a player is precisely what the old regime did, on numerous occasions. There is no guarantee that this player will achieve their potential, but there is a risk that we could be pouring money down the drain.

As for being positive, I am trying to be as positive as I can be. I would like for us to sign one right winger with some experience and another younger winger at a cheaper asking price than Dibling (i.e. around £15m to £20m). If given the choice between Tom Fellows and Dibling, I would go for Tom Fellows.

Then no offence but you are wrong, the lads better than fellows right now and three years younger and actually has pace

Not an English tax more of a Premier League tax as the Premier League is the cash cow and other clubs know it

Itis the lack of structure, cannot sign a certain payer so we change our entire MO for next season squad shape????

Look at the type of wide player though mate, there's the structure, Fofana, Kubo, Dibling, two very you one youngish, all three excel at taking the ball and quickly transgressing upfield, all three excellent running with the ball and all three have osce and are naturally wide players.

Incredible dribbler. But that's all currently. A project player, could be a star in a few years. I like it if the fee stays low, sort of high potential upside player clubs in our position need to make gambles on

erm, just random wings though - we either have budget for both wings at 30-40mil PLus or no transfer/squad strategy

Its nuts mate

I'll be the first to say I don't want him for his price. Not that he is bad. He is not the player we need right now. At all. If we do sign him, you have to hope he becomes an absolute baller.

Him and Ndiaye have a similar style dribbling wise , we'd be drawing a lot of fouls in the final third and set plays are key for us .
