Had this cleared by @GrandOldTeam,

Going to be auctioning 2 tickets to a home game at BMD in aid of supporting @roydo local charity over the next few seasons,

This is 2 tickets to Trinity Bar that includes free food and free Drinks pre match (3 hours and half time) just off the halfway line, this years game will be Bournemouth at home scheduled for Feb 11th 2026, face value is £157.89 each but we can do better than that.

Auction will close 30 days before scheduled game day, all money will go to charity paid by winning bidder before tickets are released

That's a great idea and very generous . . but would raffling them not raise even more money?
It would also give more people an affordable chance of seeing 'how the other half live' in the posh seats.

Good point ref raffle, will look onto this not sure how this works though (anyone with experience let me know)

Morning mate, I can`t afford to enter the bidding for these tickets, but I`d very happily donate to any linked charity, I`m sure there`ll be many others who`d do similar ?

Ps - This is a really wonderful thing you`re doing and as much as this place attracts some real nutters at times ( see transfer thread ) it`s things like this, that makes this place so special

I was going to say, this may be a way of getting guaranteed money and generating more interest as more people will be able to interact.

£10 would be fair, but I think a fair few would go to £15 or £20, which would potentially be £885 or £1,180. @ETID, either way, what a brilliant gesture.

I would definitely be interested in the raffle idea, not sure I could justify a potential auction price. If an auction is the route then I, as an earlier post mentioned, would be willing to put a few quid in the pot, just as a donation.

Have looked into this a bit more have decided will be creating a “raffle” as this will hopefully give more people a chance, in hindsight an auction isn’t going to be the most inclusive way,

Tickets Will be £20 for the pair, will create a just giving page once have confirmation of @roydo charity of choice, “raffle” will end 01/12/2025 as this might entice people to have a go for a Christmas present etc
