Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

They’ll all be wearing ‘ Make Everton Great Again ‘ baseball caps next season .

Boss man spent all the money on Jigsaw stock otherwise these would be have flying off the shelves faster than the waterproof Everton bedsheets.

I'm not sure the situations are that different mate. Like Alli was doing ok earlier the season we took him I think.

Maybe Grealish is great, but I can understand the risk.
To be fair, I think the situations are much different.

Alli fell off a cliff and looked like he didn't even want to be out there. It was bizarre. One moment he was bossing it out there, the next he could barely run up and down the pitch.

With Jack, you get the feeling it's more that increasingly he's been phased out of City more because he doesn't fit their system. And instead of finding joy out there, he's constantly being made to play like a robot, which he is not, more than most.

The big question is whether that's actually what it is because that's what it has looked like to a lot of us, or whether it comes down to him getting older, losing a step, not having the hunger to play, fitness, etc.

If it's a year long loan, it's worth it to find out which one it is, in my opinion.

If we don’t overpay for him and get locked into anything beyond a year, he’s an immediate upgrade. He came from a club that won consistently at all levels. I think he’s down on his luck and looking to prove himself again having been kicked to the curb. Playing for Moyes would be a breath of fresh air for him after all the yelling and aggression you get daily from Pep. If we pass on him, no worries. But if we get him on a short-term deal, it’s a good bridge for us. Even his name will bring butts to seats to see him play for us. And if he helps us finish even two places higher, it helps us in the transfer windows.

This all day.

He’s the sprinkle of stardust signing on deadline day (probably), after we’ve got all the rest through the door (hopefully).

Fading star perhaps, if you prefer
that served with a saucer of milk.

But on a year’s rental, I just don’t see how this one goes wrong, personally - if it comes off.

It really depends on the total cost for the loan and I have no doubts of his abilities but a bit like Phillips city got from Leeds is the hunger desire and motivation still there are there the big doubts in my mind
