Transfer Rumour Malick Fofana

On the contrary right...clearly the guy is buying for time at this stage. We should move to the next target. Has no intention of coming here unless no other club is prepare to buy him.
Totally agree .

Only sign players who want to be here

If that means we go for players a notch lower than Fofana and Luiz so be it .

I'd prefer us to target young , hungry players who are both talented and will work for the shirt .

McAtee and Hackney fit into that category. I'm sure there is a RB and RW in the same mould of Aznou.

Get it done Everton.

I do get what you mean, but the issue is that in reality pretty much every player is going to see things exactly the same way. None of them would be coming here because it's always been their dream to play for Everton - the only difference between Fofana and Hackney for example would be that nobody better than us would be trying to sign Hackney, and so it would be an easier decision for him to make. If he thought Bayern were going to buy him he'd probably rather go there aswell, so it doesn't actually tell us anything at all about the difference in their character, desire, hunger etc, it just tells us about the difference in the number or quality of options they have available to them.

McAtee has been strongly rumoured to prefer Dortmund .

No , I agree that there will be very few ( if any ) that see Everton as a "dream move " but suspect there are a lot of young promising players that would see Everton as a massive step up rather than Luiz and Fofana who might view it as a sideways move and big payday.

Weve been battling relegation for the last 3 years.

We 100% dont want players that are happy to be here. Thats how you end up with the dross we have now.

We want players who want to be in the champions league and who will drive the club forward to either get the club to were they want to be or play at the level where a club where they want to be comes in for them.
