Adrenaline is a hell of a drug, one kick to win the tournament and all. She was the only one who went up there and wellied it, everyone else tried placement.

Not arsed about Wales, tbh, but I cant stand the way the Danes have exploited the Eriksen affair and I hope they get battered in the quarters.

Simply a well done for making the nation happy. Not been a lot to cheer about on these isles for a while.

No wonder they beat Spain! Definitely need to tighten up the checks that allow trans people to play women's football...

Sorry to bring it up again: Leah Williamson. Is she EVER going to hand that trophy over to another team mate?

I'm surprised one of them hasn't had a word with her about it yet.

I wouldn't mind but she was like a statue all tournament and contributed practically f.a. toward securing the trophy.

Get's all the commercial contracts as well that one.


A word about Weigman too: to her credit she's been sidestepping any compliments she's been getting by replying that the whole tournament for England was out of control and chaotic. She's right too. They won that trophy despite not because of her.


And finally, Chloe Kelly: is she starting to wind anyone else up yet the way she's answering questions and putting herself up for the glory?


The rest of them I dont mind at all....apart from there Kopite Greenwood, obviously. Some are even likeable.

And I can put up with these winning something in a way that would be impossible to with the men's team.


Anyway, rant over.
