Maybe Pickford and Branthwaite mate?Who would u have ahead of Ndia?
I read it as forward players and I think Ndia more important then both of them, without him we lose all attacking intentMaybe Pickford and Branthwaite mate?
I'd fully expect one showboat signing with these new owners. In fact, I'm almost surprised it hasn't happened yet.As the late great Graham Turnip Taylor once said, do I not like this!
It’s another showboat signing ala Gazza and/or Ginola
The guys best footie has long gone
I mean, that applies to every player on the planet bar the best in their position. Every fan would be happy with an upgrade. For us it would be monumentally stupid to seek to upgrade our best player when we have Michael Keane as our fourth centre half, no right back, no right wing, a starting left back that can't pass forward or cross, a central midfield lacking goals, assists, ball retention, ball carrying ability and depth, an average striker and a back up striker with only one season in a decent league. I mean, NDiaye obviously isn't the best in the world in his position so there is an upgrade possible, I just don't think it would be the best use of resource. Our bar is very low. Being our most creative player means being the tallest midget.
I wouldn't seek to upgrade him this summer - but I wouldn't hesitate to move him if it means getting a better player into his current position.
Without Pickford we'd have been on relegated 3 different seasons mate, without Branthwaite we'd have gone the season before last imo.I read it as forward players and I think Ndia more important then both of them, without him we lose all attacking intent
You're looking for an argument where it doesn't exist. I am not advocating to upgrade our third-best player this summer. I'm just not as horrified at the thought of him moving position to accommodate a more accomplished player as you appear to be.I mean, that applies to every player on the planet bar the best in their position. We could probably do better there as well.
Pickford and Branthwaite.
He's literally the only player in our team who can control a ball and beat a player. Midfielders and forwards are always more important than keepers and defenders.Without Pickford we'd have been on relegated 3 different seasons mate, without Branthwaite we'd have gone the season before last imo.
Love the lad but he's nowhere near as important as those two
oh I don't know. he's 29, not 33.As the late great Graham Turnip Taylor once said, do I not like this!

You didn't talk about him moving position. You said upgrading him. Which I think is a pretty dumb point. Upgrading NDiaye just doesn't even feature in a top 100 of things that need to be improved at Everton at the moment. You're looking for an argument where it doesn't exist. As someone who watched us win two league titles one with a massive list of injuries and lost a third entirely down to having our keeper injured mate I call bull crap. He's literally the only player in our team who can control a ball and beat a player. Who was more important, Southall or Lineker? As someone who watched us win two league titles one with a massive mist of injuries and lost a third entirely down to having our keeper injured mate I call bull crap.
Southall by an absolute country mileWho was more important, Southall or Lineker?
