I think he one of the very few players that Peps style has ruined.

He still has that ability from his Villa days but i think that was coached out of him.

At City every single time he would run at the FB stop then play it back, like 99 times out of 100 he would do this.

It’s similar to the Arteta Pienaar Osman Baines problem. you’ll play some teams off the park at home with their technique no question but you’ll get monstered away at top opposition as they’re all quicker and stronger across the park than we would be.

We can carry one one paced schemer in the team at number 10. We can’t carry 3 of them right across the pitch behind the striker.

How about we have Ndiaye and Fofana competing for the left side or one of them can move inside or on the right.

Offload McNeil to a newly promoted side.
