There's under two weeks to the Roma game. If we're short handed still by then and we see another series of woeful performances on the pitch there's a very high chance that protests will happen.

Do you think people being asked to pay top dollar now to see Everton are going to meekly sit in their seats eating their extortionately priced blue donuts and say f.a. about it?

I dont.

You can start it off Dave
Turn your back to the telly in your bedroom on a Match day in protest

What a load of old bolloks

Oh look, it's Mr Everton.

I can almost guarantee I'll have attended more games than you've ever been to...or ever will.

It's not all about STH attendance in any case. That's just an elitist bit of nonsense used by people who aren't really Evertonians. You may as well tell 90% of this forum they have no right to say a word about the club, because that's roughly how many wont be season ticket holders atm...or will have attended a game in years.

I'm really sorry Dave, but I'm utterly convinced at this point that you're a parody  you live on a different planet to the rest of us mate hahaha

Heads must roll if we have, as fully expected by almost everybody now, a slow and pathetic start to the season. Seems like at our very first fixture at BMD we'll be right up against it with a threadbare squad against Brighton. Some way to kick off the new era.

I will not be protesting, mainly because my memory extends beyond that of a Goldfish, and I rightly remember the 30 years of Kenwright and 8 years of Moshiri.

Protests? This is insanity, even by your occasional outlandish comments!

But we all knew there would be a lot of players out of contract at the end of last season, and that before they left we were very short on numbers in a lot of areas last season. I think there`s plenty of time to bring in a few more bodies before Brighton, and a few more before the window shuts. What I really don`t want to see is us signing a bunch of players that don`t work out and we end up having players we can`t get rid of but who are well below PL level or can`t be bothered putting in the required effort.

I know, that's my point, it's too soon to make any judgements, positive or negative. I would argue that you are being at least as irrationally full of praise for an ownership that hasn't done a great deal of anything yet as those who are decrying them. It's reasonable to be optimistic, but you seem to consider any pessimism as being a personal affront and evidence of people not being "assed about us". That's not reasonable.

an right but they’ve/ and are bringing in
and actual board with structure?

and managed the debt?

ok mate

Ok, but we don't know if the new structure has yielded or will yield any improvements yet, do we?

The debt situation is obviously a welcome development.

Look, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with TFG, we all hope they'll do a brilliant job. We just don't know yet. Everyone just needs to calm down a bit and wait and see what they do. There are a variety of milestones after which we can make judgements with the end of the current transfer window being the first. Realistically, we won't know if this lot are competent or not for a couple of years.
