2025/26 Everton Women - Super League & Cup Games

I just think it's wishful thinking about the attendances. It would be brilliant if womens football was full of sumptuous football and enjoyable to watch but its 9 times out of 10 a stodgy affair where you can wander off make yourself a sandwich or tea and not miss any discernable action
Totally disagree about that 9 times from 10 rubbish. But your entitled to think and say what you want. Like a lot of games in mens and Womens. You will get good and bad games, and that is the way football will always be.

If people are not fans of the womens game, dont get why when they win something, all the rubbsh comes out from some as to whats wrong with the womens game at all - Easy dont like it, dont watch it, very simple

Fair enough. I'm not a massive fan of the modern men's game either so maybe I'm not the right person to critique football at all

However it's good for the next generation. My daughter got to see England as winning a major comp. Not happening with the men, depth or whatever else.

That's the best thing about it. Inspiring your daughter and getting her into the game. Just make sure she's not an Evertonian or she'll end up grumpy like me

I’m coming into this conversation late and I realise this is not the main part of it but in fairness to him he very quickly apologised for that and said he was wrong. Not many pundits do that.
Yep aware of that too, but should've checked his source first. That said, I did say I thought he was ok

tbf that sounds not too different to the premier league if you don't get sucked onto the hype train

Next season we should be able to attract a few extra fans to games with the Goodison link, after that its for the ladies to start playing a nice bit of football and more over making winning games the norm. I think the new owners will invest a bit to give our ladies a chance to challenge at the top with football being seen as a women`s sport in the US.
I`m with you on your take about the football not being an enjoyable watch, but with new players coming in it can all get a bit better on the eye, as will the first team.
