Protests? Sorry... what?

Protests?!

Our fans are absolutely insane.

7 Months theyve been in place. Moyes says we've made lots of offers, the players dont want to come. They've given us a budget to spend.

What are they doing wrong? Not calling talksport enough?

Am I the insane one for being fine with their performance? Or are some just ridiculously knee jerk?

There's under two weeks to the Roma game. If we're short handed still by then and we see another series of woeful performances on the pitch there's a very high chance that protests will happen.

Do you think people being asked to pay top dollar now to see Everton are going to meekly sit in their seats eating their extortionately priced blue donuts and say f.a. about it?

I dont.

Is that not what they`ve been doing the last few years?

Come on Dave, everyone knows Roma wasn't built in a day!

Dave I've followed this club for nigh on 45 years, one thing I can guarantee is that there will be zero owner protests until such a time as I controvertable proof existed and even then it would be a minority.

Not sure what world you are living in if you even remotely think different.

How about just taking a few weeks off for once, must be tiring to always feel the need to be deeply unhappy about something related to the club.

Fortunately I’ve got a fair portion of this , and it feels like every other thread , on ignore .

However it feels like certain posters have no idea of the general attitude /behaviour of the match going crowd. Im not saying going the game makes you better but surely it gives you a better understanding of their general ‘collective ‘ mindset .

The idea there will be protests at the Roma game is in my opinion beyond fanciful .

I think it’s also worth noting that I know a large number of season ticket holders who aren’t going . This game like most home friendlies will , I suspect , have significantly more families in attendance to enjoy the day . So I don’t believe there would be any protests even if we’d sold Pickford & branthwaite .

Just feels like it’s a total disconnect with reality to be honest

If you've followed Everton for 45 years you wont be surprised at Everton fans protesting against the club's ownership.

The discontent is building over ticketing, prices at the stadium, transportation to get there, lack of signings, absent owners who wont even identify with the club.

The combustible materials are being assembled.

No mate, actually match going fans does make you whilst not better certainly much more in tune with what the fan base actually feels rather than say GoT ever does.

Worry I became far angrier at the way the club was ran when I stopped going the game, prior to that was the sit down stay behind protest game I can ever remember doing anything - Johnson I think it was a boxing day yonks ago now.

Mate Ive had my season ticket from before I can remember So that was exactly my point .

I went to the first blue union protest at the Casa and tried to make my voice heard since , let’s be honest Kenwright got clapped then . Fans protesting a couple of years ago got booed .

The protests that happened at this club occurred to due a culmination of the extraordinary factors and the hard work and dedication of a number of people . So like i say the idea there will be protests , is so ridiculous I feel embarrassed commenting on it .
